Volunteer / Collaborate
The natural mind project would be nothing without people volunteering their time to help me. As I have said before, the project is a loose network of like minded individuals, who have decided to help make a difference.
So what's the difference between volunteering and collaborating?
Basically, nothing! I see anyone who is helping me as a collaborator, whether you volunteer one hour of your time or a lifetime!! This is our project, not one person with all the ideas and everyone else just following!
So how do I get involved?
Easy, just send me an email, and tell me what you would like to work on. The scope of the natural mind project is huge so don't be afraid to come up with new ideas. - Translation. We urgently need people to assist our german project manager holger hausmann with the translation of the natural mind - waking up into german. Here's a few words from holger on why he wanted to get involved
When I accidently stumbled upon alans work in form of an audio book I was absolutely thrilled and excited. Finally someone confirmed my inner feeling that something in our society just doesn‘t feel right. Finally someone reminded me of what it truly means to be human. And besides, he invested years of his life to produce his book and audio book, then gives them away for free. Not because he doesn‘t need the money but because he feels that this is the right thing to do. That impressed me even more and assured me that he really does stand behind his message.
I felt I needed to contribute something to this project myself. At first I didn‘t really know what I could do until I read the final page of his first book where alan wrote he‘s looking for people to help him with the translation of the book. And there it was, my chance. I rang him up (surprised to get in contact with him that easily) and we are in contact ever since, working on ideas to making this translation work.
I have a job, a wife and she just gave birth to our first child. I have a lot of things on my mind because I have to provide for my family. But I see it as my duty, no, my chance to really do something meaningful that is furthering the cause of humanity. And let me tell you, it feels great, like doing the right thing."

If you would like to help get this translation project really going, why not offer to help translate a topic or two into your own language?

Major Projects
The natural mind project needs a home. If you or anyone you know would like to offer a piece of land / building that we could use as a place for people to come and find some quiet in their lives for a short period, a place where they can take time to learn about themselves, from themselves. I would love to hear from you. Country / location is unimportant - it is all one earth!
The evolving book is now on its way... slowly but surely! What is it? It is a place where you can write about anything! Anger, hate, love, the state of the world, the state of your bank balance, the directors of banks, the universe, conspiracies, heart warming stories - in fact anything you think would bring us closer together as a planet. Once a year (starting 2011) the book will be stopped, and published in its evolved form!
